Chapter 9: Law Enforcement One of the most overlooked aspect of conspiracy theories is that of law enforcement. This chapter will discuss the theories that involve individuals in law enforcement and the FBI using their administrative power to cover up errors or abuse their power to falsely incriminate individuals who would otherwise be found not guilty. In anecdotal form, many cases that do not get solved and end up in the cold case files are often the result of police or FBI errors in the investigation. Then, to try and preserve the reputation of the department, they try to make the errors disappear. This can even result in the loss of evidence. This should not be interpreted as a anti-police chapter in anyway. There are many hardworking and dedicated officers that do their jobs well and are interested in protecting the communities in which they serve.
